The Bishop Masereka Christian Foundation (US) exists to “provide assistance to AIDS orphans in South Rwenzori, Uganda, educating the public to prevent the disease, and educating the U.S. population to the problem.”

The Bishop Masereka Christian Foundation (US) is a not-for-profit, charitable organization incorporated under the laws of the State of New York. The Bishop Masereka Christian Foundation US, Inc. has received an IRS Letter of Determination, granting it Tax Exempt status under the Internal Revenue Code as an organization described in Section 501 (c) (3). And as a public charity under section 170 (b) (1) (A) (vi) of the IRS Code.

Any donations you wish to make for a specific project or use should be so noted when you make the donation. If you wish us to hold the donation until a specific time, we will be happy to do so upon request. Your donation will go directly to supporting the projects we are engaged in as well as the support of the cost of mailings and supplies needed for communications. There are no paid positions within the Foundation -- all operations are supported through volunteer time and energy.

The Bishop Masereka Christian Foundation (US) is incorporated as a 501(c)3 Not-For-Profit Corporation in the State of New York

• Is a Type B corporation as defined in Section 201 of the Not-For-Profit Corporation Law

Tax exempt status

On February 22, 2007, The Bishop Masereka Christian Foundation US, Inc. received an IRS Determination, granting it continued Tax Exempt status under the Internal Revenue Code as an organization described in Section 501 (c) (3).

• BMCF (US), Inc. is classified as a public charity under section 170 (b) (1) (A) (vi) of the IRS Code
• Contributions to the BMCF, US, Inc. are Tax Deductible by donors commencing August 19, 2002. A copy of our Internal Revenue Service Letter of Determination is available upon request.
