Take Steps

to rebuild a community through health and education

The Bishop Masereka Christian Foundation works to transform healthcare delivery and educational opportunities in the Rwenzori region of Uganda.

With local leaders and highly trained staff drawn from the community, the Foundation’s medical clinic focuses obstetric and pediatric medical care, and provides urgent care for all. The BMCF Education Program connects committed sponsors with promising students so that the region’s most vulnerable children may complete their education and lead their community into the future. With these pillars of stability in place, hope and progress are real and growing in the Rwenzori region of western Uganda.

BMCF works daily to achieve the UN Millennium Goals

Goal 2: Achieve universal primary education

Goal 4: Reduce childhood mortality rates

Goal 5: Improve maternal health

Goal 6: Combat HIV/AIDS, malaria, and other diseases

BMCF is founded on the core values of accountability and professionalism, and of care and respect for every person. BMCF rejects intolerance and discrimination toward any individual for any reason.
